MHIA is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone. We strive to comply with the recognised standard of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C): Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1). We welcome your feedback if you have any problems accessing any of our content.
Submit FeedbackWe understand that there are constant innovations to accessibility technology. Because of this, MHIA are committed to continually improving accessilibity of our website as these new technologies become available. In order to make our website accessible to users who utilise these newer technologies, we have a number of standards in place, these are detailed below.
Our website has been developed primarily with the use of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. In order for our website to function as intended, please ensure your browser supports JavaScript.
We have made our best effort to support a variety of browsers by testing the functionality of our website across multiple platforms, operating systems and browsers. Optimum performance can be achieved by using either Microsoft Edge (100+), Google Chrome (100+) or Firefox (100+) on Windows; Safari (15.4+) on MacOS; Safari (15.4+) on iOS/iPadOS; or Chrome (100+) on Android.
We use the PDF (Portable Document Format) for presenting certain information on our website such as company policies. We do this to enable documents to be easily downloaded or printed, whilst keeping the original design and layout intact, something that is not always possible when downloading or printing a HTML web page.
We recommend using the built-in browser controls for adjusting the font size on our website. These can usually be controlled on a Windows computer by holding down the CTRL key and using the + and - keys and similarly on a Mac, holding the CMD key and using the + and - keys. On Safari for iOS/iPadOS, tap the AA icon, then use the A and A buttons to adjust the font size. On Chrome for Android, tap the three-dot menu icon and select Settings, then tap accessibility, then adjust Text scaling.
