The few things we cannot cover.
Loss or damage caused unintentionally to your home and general contents.
If the appliance is not repairable we will pay the cost to replace the item less 10% per year for wear, tear and depreciation.
Loss or damage caused by explosion or by fire, including bushfire.
Loss or damage caused by theft or attempted theft.
Loss or damage caused by rainwater run-off and loss or damage as a result of power surge caused by lightning.
If your home is in a home park and you permanently live in your home, your will be fully covered.
Your policy covers you for rain water run-off. Unless a flood also occurs within the same 48-hour period and it exceeds the height of the rainwater run-off level.
We will cover the cost of repairing or replacing the water apparatus only if the cause of the leak is a listed covered event. If the apparatus bursts or leaks on its own and the claim is approved, we will cover the cost of repairing the damage caused by the leak, but you will need to fix the leak itself at your own expense.
Yes, our contents insurance covers theft if you forget to lock your doors or windows.
No, our policy is designed to cover home owners only. We will not cover your home for accidental damage if your home is tenanted.
No, We utilise experienced, qualified builders that are part of our supplier network. They offer a lifetime guarantee on home repairs, which ensures the quality and workmanship of the repairs we authorise to your home for the lifetime of your home. If you request a cash settlement of the quoted amount to manage the repairs yourself and we agree, the lifetime guarantee will not apply.
No, we will not cover loss or damage caused by theft or damage by tenants or boarders or anyone with whom you live, or anyone who enters your home with your consent.
Yes. Accidental damage of any part of the home building, or contents within the home is covered. There is no cover for accidental breakage whilst the home is tenanted
We cover mechanical and electrical breakdown for appliances including: air-conditioning units, hot water services, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers. If the appliance is not repairable, we will pay the cost to replace the item, less 10% per year for wear, tear, and depreciation. Your basic excess will apply. Please read the PDS for full inclusions and exclusions.
Your carpets & other unfixed floor coverings are covered under your contents sum insured. Please ensure the amount you insure your contents items for includes your personal belongings, as well as fixtures and fittings.

No. We can only accept monthly instalments paid by direct debit from your bank account.
